About Lupos GK — The European Goalkeeper Gloves Brand
Who We Are
Lupos GK is an European professional goalkeeper gloves brand, founded in 2017 in Romania by Green Dot SRL. Born from a shared passion for football spanning more than half a century combined, Lupos was created with a clear mission: to offer every goalkeeper — amateur or professional, child or adult — access to high-performance gloves at an honest price.
The name and the wolf symbol reflect the spirit of the goalkeeper: alone in front of the goal, yet the backbone of the team. We were also inspired by the Dacian Draco, the wolf with a dragon’s tail.
Our Story
In the mid-2010s, a group of football enthusiasts and parents noticed a gap in the market: quality goalkeeper gloves were either too expensive or unavailable for the average player. We decided to change that. Starting from scratch, we focused entirely on design, materials, and production — building relationships with premium latex suppliers in Germany and developing glove models tested by real goalkeepers on real pitches.
Since the 2018–2019 season, Lupos GK gloves have been used in official matches in the Romanian Superliga, the Greek Superleague, and Serie C in Italy — a testament to the quality and trust professional goalkeepers place in our products.
Our Products
Lupos GK offers a complete range of goalkeeper equipment:
- Goalkeeper gloves — available in sizes 4 to 11, for children and adults, in multiple cut types: Negative Cut, Roll Finger, Flat Cut, Bio Hybrid, and Maximiser. Palm latex options include Contact (German natural latex, Pro level), Giga Grip, and Quartz — each suited to different playing conditions and surfaces.
- Compression tights and padded shorts — featuring EVA foam padding for hip, knee, and thigh protection, ideal for artificial turf.
- Goalkeeper jerseys and full kits — designed for both training and match play.
- Drako line — a dedicated line to the team sport.
All products are available in Romania and internationally via global or regional marketplace like Amazon, Decathlon, Skroutz, Allegro, Emag.
Professional Use
Lupos GK gloves have been worn in official professional matches by goalkeepers including Vlad Mușiu, Cătălin Căbuz, Alexandru Buzbuchi, Cosmin Dur-Bozoancă, Andi Gorcea, Cosmin Vâtcă, Ștefan Lefter, Raul Avram, Denis Rusu, Rafel Munteanu, Iustin Popescu, Giannis Sourdis, Alexandru Maxim, Alexandru Borbei, among others — all active in top Romanian professional football in Liga 1, Liga 2, or professional football from Greece and Italy.
